Philip Gourevitch

Philip Gourevitch is an American journalist widely known for his coverage of the Rwandan genocide in The New Yorker from 1994 onward. He was the editor of The Paris Review from 2005-2010. He was interviewed by Professor of Law Madeline Morris and Africa News Service Executive Director Tami Hultman on March 30, 1999. In this interview, they discuss his reporting on the Rwandan genocide and Gourevitch's book We Wish To Inform You That Tomorrow We Will Be Killed With Our Families, which won the National Book Critic’s Award in 1998.
